Christmas Lights!
I love photography, but just like most people, there are times when I just don’t feel like going out in the cold to take photos. Last night, I’m glad I did! From the window, inside the house, where it was warm, I could see that a heavy fog had rolled in while the boys and I were enjoying a movie.
Part of me said, “Go out there and take a fun shots of the Christmas lights in the fog,” and yet there was this other voice that said, “It’s late. You’re tired. It’s cold out there. You don’t want to go there.”
I’m glad I chose to the listen the voice that encouraged me to go out and get the shot! These pictures of a few of the homes in my neighborhood look so cool with their lights glowing through the fog. Yes, it was a little chilly, and I was in my pajamas and bare feet, but it was worth it to capture these fun photos.

It’s March, and Spring is just around the corner.
In the Northern Hemisphere, it’s time to get the garden started, and the bicycle tires aired up. The gloom of winter will soon pass, and the sun will be our companion. What is one thing you will do this year to make this your best summer yet? Share your ideas in the comments.
The Nutcracker Trilogy

I will continue to shamelessly promote these books because I’m so excited about being a small part of Drosselmeyer’s journey. If you’re new here, let me encourage you to check out The Nutcracker Trilogy by Paul Thompson. All three books are available in print and as e-books. Books one and two are available as audiobooks, narrated by yours truly. Click the links below to explore.
Oh, and it doesn’t have to be Christmas for you to enjoy these stories (just like it doesn’t have to be Christmas to enjoy Harry Potter).
